The Bavaria arrived in the port on September 4, 2001.

The Bavaria carried 41 pieces of equipment destined for an oil extraction construction project in northern Alberta, Canada.

The largest piece, a flue gas stack section, was 72 feet long. The total shipment weighed over 250 metric tons. The equipment was picked up in Alexandria, Egypt, where it was also manufactured.

Last year, the Stellanova and the Fairlift also brought equipment for the same project in Alberta.
