The Daniella arrived Duluth at 7 am on December 1, 2004 with a cargo of heavy equipment to discharge at Lake Superior Warehousing Co., Inc.

The heavy-lift vessel from Jumbo, in the Netherlands, brought 14 crates and one 193.4 metric ton high pressure vessel (above). The large piece was built in Japan. Other cargo was picked up in South Korea.

The pieces were discharged at the Port Terminal to railroad cars before being transported to Fort McMurray, north of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. There they will be used in a massive oil sands extraction project.
