The M/V Fairload arrived in Duluth on April 30, 2003 to discharge heavy equipment
The first piece is slowly moved from the deck of the Fairload to a waiting rail car.

Below: some of the 49 pieces of heavy equipment, awaiting discharge. Once offloaded in Duluth, 5 pieces will be carried to Alberta by truck. The other 44 will go by train.
 
Cargo taken off the Fairload this weekend has been loaded onto the train, now parked just below downtown Duluth. The train should depart late this morning (May 7, 2003).
